Administrative Director

Emilie graduated with Honors from Belmont University with a BA in Accounting. Emilie lives in Nolensville, TN with her husband, Josh and their 3 children, Ella, Sophie and Liam.

Adam Gould
Co-Founder & Executive Director

Adam is the founder of the Kenya Children Project and Co-Founder of eduKenya. He has a BA in Youth Ministry and an MA in International Development from Eastern University. Adam lives in Nolensville, TN with his wife, Njeri and their two children, Amani and Tele.

Njeri Gould
Communications Coordinator

Njeri has a background in youth ministry and spent a number of years working in media in Kenya and Tanzania.  She has a BA in International Relations from USIU-Nairobi and an MDiv in Biblical Studies from Africa International University. She lives in Nolensville, TN with her husband, Adam and their two children, Amani and Tele.

Blake Henson
U.S. Director of Development

Blake previously founded a discipleship ministry, Nashville KLIFE, for Middle and High School students. He graduated with honors from Southeast Missouri State University with a BSBA in Marketing. Blake lives in Nashville, TN with his wife, Madi. They have two children, Banks and Dean.

Ajema Kikuyu
Kenya Director

Ajema studied Business Administration and Management at Daystar University, as well as Gender, Poverty and Development at Egerton University. Ajema lives in Murang’a, Kenya with her husband, Ngumba. They have 3 daughters Nyambura, Gathoni and Wanjiku.

“Working with eduKenya has opened my eyes to the challenges communities and families have, and how those affect the lives of the children. It has also stirred up in me a desire to go beyond just what I see on the surface and get to know the real person. The people in our communities and the children represented in our schools carry so much, and it is easy to overlook someone who needs a listening ear or a shoulder to lean on. eduKenya has helped me do that.”

Evan Kinyanjui
Head of Information Technology

Evan studied Information Technology at Jomo Kenyatta University Of Agriculture and Technology. He lives in Nairobi, Kenya.

“I find immense joy in assisting young children as they explore their boundless potential during their energetic youth, uncovering their innate talents and life's calling. Through Christ, this journey has also revealed to me my own capabilities and the blessings bestowed upon me.”

Pispah Lugondo
Alumni Coordinator

Pispah has completed his CPAs and received his BComm in Finance and is pursuing a MS in Finance and Accounting from the University of Nairobi. He lives in Nairobi, Kenya.

Michael Maingi
Head of Education & Deputy Kenya Director

Michael has a B.Ed in Early Childhood at Mt Kenya University and is currently pursuing an MA in Leadership Studies at International Leadership University. He lives in Nairobi, Kenya and is married and father to Jayden and Djibril.

Joseph Njenga
Community Relations Developer

Njenga studied Project Management at the Kenya Institute of Management. He lives in Nairobi, Kenya with his wife, Wairimu. They have a daughter, Mikayla Wanjiku.

Collette Mwende
Guidance & Counseling Coordinator

Collette studied Community Development and Social Work at Africa Nazarene University. She lives in Nairobi, Kenya with her husband. They have three daughters, Tiffany, Natalie and Leyla.

It has encouraged me to see my work as a calling and an opportunity to serve others, aligning my actions with my beliefs. Julius Ndeti
Kenya Head of Finance & Accounting

Julius received his BComm degree at KCA University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya and an associate member of ICPAK. Julius lives in Nairobi, Kenya.

“Having been raised from a very humble background and seen where God has brought me from, it always gives me more courage and energy to work more towards achieving eduKenya's vision and mission. As the accountant who is in charge of the finances, I always work my best to be a good steward of the resources God has given us. eduKenya has really changed my perspective about people, the way I address them, and understanding that God is always by our side.”

Angela has a BSc in International Business Administration from USIU-Nairobi and a MSc. in Development Studies from the London School of Economics. She lives in Nairobi, KenyA.

Stella Ndiho
Kenya Director of Strategic Partnerships & Development

Stella has a degree in Economics from Northern Illinois University and has studied Life Coaching and Nutritional Therapy at the School of Natural Health Sciences. She lives in Nairobi, Kenya.

Amber Newell
Sponsorship & Donor Care Coordinator

Amber has a degree in Biblical Studies from Appalachian Bible College. Amber lives in Nolensville, TN with her husband, Jonathan. They have 3 children, Ava, Lily and Austin.

“As the donor care coordinator, not only do I get to hear transformation stories about the children in Kenya, but I get to hear stories from our donors on how eduKenya has impacted them, too. It's been a blessing for me to see how donors are being blessed by this organization alongside the children in Kenya. It's a beautiful picture of God's love and it's greatly impacted me. Erick Nzomo
Procurement Coordinator

Erick studied Management Science at Kenyatta University and Accounts at Visions Institute. He lives in Nairobi, Kenya with his wife, Racheal. They have four children, Grace, Gabriel, Gianna and Guardian.

Sail University. He resides just outside Nashville, TN with his wife and two daughters.
