Teacher Training

Teacher Training

Great teachers don’t just happen. They are cultivated, supported, and empowered to grow. We have been investing in the continued education and training of our teachers in both traditional academic college level development, as well as short workshops and practical training that enable them to sharpen their skills to better serve our students.

Recently one of our teachers, Miss Weru, traveled to Makueni Girls High School for an intensive drama workshop, preparing to guide our students through the upcoming annual Drama Festivals competitions. In addition, another teacher, Mr. Keya participated in a Kenya Science and Engineering Fair workshop, equipping himself with fresh strategies to ignite curiosity and innovation in STEM amongst our young science students. After the trainings, both teachers returned energized with new tools and techniques to bring into their classrooms.

Investing in our teachers is one of the most powerful ways we invest in our students. When Miss Weru learns advanced drama techniques, our students gain confidence in public speaking, storytelling, and creative expression. When Mr. Keya learns techniques to deepen his students' understanding of scientific inquiry, our learners discover they can be inventors, researchers, and problem-solvers. Quality education doesn't stop at providing textbooks and classrooms, it requires continuously developing the skilled, passionate educators who inspire our students in the classroom every day.

Your generosity makes this professional growth possible. When you support eduKenya, you're ensuring our teachers have access to the training, workshops, and resources they need to be excellent, and that excellence ripples into every lesson and every student interaction. Would you partner with us today to continue investing in teacher development?
