Let's Celebrate!

Let's Celebrate!

On October 24th, our Mawewa Pre-primary held a joyous event, celebrating the graduation of our preschool students.

The event was a beautiful send off for our bright young learners as they prepare to transition to the next exciting chapter of their education. The heart and soul behind this amazing event was none other than their dedicated teacher, Mrs. Edita Malombe.

Mrs. Malombe, whose unwavering commitment and vibrant energy have been instrumental in guiding our young learners on this journey, coordinated and planned the celebration with the assistance of her colleagues.

During the event, our students' parents were all in attendance to support their children. Their presence meant the world to the graduates, visibly filling them with confidence as they celebrated this important milestone.

The event was filled with touching moments, including speeches from several parents who expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the school, thanking the teachers who have walked alongside their children with such care. The parents also presented gifts to the teachers, and an inspiring sermon was preached from one of our community members.

The highlight of the event was seeing our new rising 1st Graders lit up with pride during their special presentations. Their happiness and excitement for the future were truly inspiring.

During the two years they are with us, our Mawewa preschoolers are supported as they learn to read, write, socialize and hear about Jesus in an organized and deliberate way. In Luke 2:52, it says, “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” (NIV) We hope for the same thing for our students. Our preschool graduation represents a major first step for them, as they begin the long journey of nurturing a curious and wise mind.

We are so grateful for such a beautiful event. None of this would have been possible without your support. Our teachers' work in the classroom and our students' achievements this year are the fruit of your prayerful support. You enable eduKenya’s schools to operate and provide a peaceful and safe learning environment for each of our learners.

Please pray with us that each and every little child will continue to grow in wisdom and stature, just as Jesus did.
