Field Report: October 2025

When I was a sophomore in college, I spent a summer working at a camp that played a major role in shaping my ministry journey. During staff training, we were given a challenge: gather at the south gate, lift a massive downed oak tree, and carry it a mile uphill. It was exhausting, but unforgettable. It took a huge crowd of us to carry it, step by step, to the north gate.

I often think of that moment because it remains one of the clearest pictures of ministry I’ve ever seen. Kingdom work is rarely something one person can carry alone. But when many step in together, the weight becomes shared, and the mission moves forward. In the same way, our team in Nairobi is able to serve, teach, and disciple because partners like you come alongside them—lifting with us, one faithful step at a time.

Year-End Celebrations

Our Preschool recently held a joyful Mawewa Preschool graduation! Other grades celebrated the close of their school year with our Guidance Counselor Collette and their teachers. These events are always significant markers of growth for our students!

Prayer request: Thank God for these meaningful celebrations, and pray that the encouragement students received will continue to shape their confidence and character.

Upcoming High School Graduation

After many years with us, our Class of 2025 will graduate on November 22. A committee is working hard to prepare a memorable ceremony that honors this important milestone.

Prayer request: Please pray for the planning team as they finalize details, and for a celebration that brings joy to students and their families.

Primary School Construction Project

Thanks to a generous gift, we are paving the courtyard of Primary School. Work is set to begin next week. This is a much-needed improvement for the safety and long-term stability of the campus.

Prayer request: Pray that our procurement coordinator assembles a skilled team, that the work is completed with excellence and on schedule, and that God uses this gift in amazing ways.

Water System Installation in Mitaboni

A major water piping installation is underway in Mitaboni—an essential step toward achieving our intended plans for the property and sustainability.

Prayer request: Please pray for smooth progress, timely completion, and that the project would meet all its intended goals.

Staff & Student Break During Exam Season

Many staff members are home during this exam period and will return in January unless they attend graduation. This break is vital for rest and renewal after a full year of ministry!

Prayer request: Ask the Lord to watch over our staff and learners during this season—providing rest, protection, and provision—and to bring them back refreshed and ready for a new year of transformation.
