Earlier this year, one of our graduates stopped by our offices. His name is Joram, and he is a member of eduKenya’s Class of 2019. After losing his parents, he joined our school and quickly became part of our community. The care he received here helped steady his life and shape his path forward.
Since graduating, Joram has written a book and started several small businesses. But during his visit, he shared that he wants to give back and provide the same transformational opportunity he was given.
He hopes to help cover school fees for students facing hardship and is gathering fellow alumni to begin an after-school program in Mathare.
