Samosa[/caption]Community Support Ministry (CSM) is in the final stages of adding a Cookery Class to their curriculum. Participants in this program will learn how to bake cakes, make doughnuts, roasted groundnuts, popcorn, Mandazi (deep fried pastry), Simsim balls (sesame seeds & sugar), Chapati (unleavened flatbread) and Samosa (fried pastry with savory fillings). Other lessons in this class include sanitation, proper food preparation, handling and presentation. These skills will prepare participants to start small cooking businesses.
